【Announcement】 Dual-Degree Program Application: NTUST & Korea University (KU)
1. Background To enhance graduates' employability and academic competencies, the Graduate Institute of Digital Learning and Education at NTUST and the Department of Education at KU have implemented a Dual-Degree Program for Master’s and Doctoral courses.
2. Application Schedule
Spring Semester 2027 (March Admission):
September 9th: Please email your application materials to the institute secretary before 17:00 for preliminary review. Email: sandys0322001@mail.ntust.edu.tw.
October 1st: After passing the preliminary review, submit the materials to Korea University.
Mid to Late October: Document review, online interview, and admission decision.
Early November: Reporting to the department.
Fall Semester 2027 (September Admission):
April 1: Application deadline.
Mid to Late April: Document review, online interview, and admission decision.
Early May: Reporting to the department.
3. Requirements and Materials
- Valid Degree Certificate: A bachelor's degree is required for a dual master's degree; a master's degree is required for a dual doctoral degree.
- Letter of Recommendation: One letter of recommendation from a faculty member of your home university.
- Official Transcript: Including GPA.
- Statement of Purpose.
- CV.
- Proof of English Proficiency: A score on an internationally recognized test (such as TOEFL or TOEIC) that meets or exceeds KU's minimum score requirements.
- Copy of Valid Passport (Photo Page).
- Application Fee: No fee.
4. Additional Preparation Students are encouraged to contact KU faculty members who may serve as their academic advisers before applying. Applicants must select a preferred major from ten specific fields, such as Educational Technology and the Learning Sciences or Educational Psychology.
