1.A minimum of 30 credits is required for graduation.

2.Complete an academic research ethics requirement by either finishing the “Academic Research Ethics Education” online course offered by the Taiwan Academic Ethics Education Resource Center, passing the final assessment, and obtaining a certificate; or by taking at least one course offered by the university’s General Education Center and passing the post-course assessment. (The “Research Ethics” course may also be used for credit exemption.)

Notes

1.For students admitted in or before the 2023 academic year (inclusive), the graduation requirement is 18 credits. For those admitted from the 2024 academic year onward, a minimum of 30 credits is required for graduation. In addition, the academic advisor may require students to take relevant courses.

2.Students without an education-related background must take “Educational Research Methods,” which may be counted toward graduation credits.

3.Students who wish to take “Advanced Educational Statistics” must first complete “Educational Statistics,” which may be counted toward graduation credits. Those who have previously studied statistics or have a relevant background at the undergraduate or graduate level may apply for a waiver of “Educational Statistics.”
